Iranian Welding Research and Engineering Center (IWREC)
Iranian Welding Research and Engineering Center (IWREC) was established in 1992 under the supervision of Industrial Development & Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) with the brand name of “Iran Welding Center”. The main aims of the company were providing scientific, technical and engineering services, inspection, consulting and training as well as conducting research activities in the fields of welding engineering, inspection and quality control. This center was handed over to the private sector in 2011, based on Article 44 of the Iranian Constitution regarding the privatization of government organizations.
From the beginning of its establishment until 2020, Iran Welding Center has been providing services in the country as representative of the International Institute of Welding (IIW), the European Welding Federation (EWF) and the authorized national bodies for certifying the qualifications of personnel and companies (ANB & ANBCC). Currently, this company with a history of more than 30 years and successful experiences in providing services in the fields of welding and inspection in various industries including oil, gas and petrochemical, mining and cement industries, construction and infrastructure industries, air transport industries, railway, marine and automobile manufacturing, etc., and by relying on its executive potential and experienced technical force is providing services to respected employers in the following areas:
